What usually goes wrong
The most common desktop drive in UK PCs. Later 2TB and 6TB models (EZAZ) use SMR recording, which makes firmware faults harder to recover from. We rebuild the drive's translator with PC-3000.
If your WD20EZRZ is clicking, beeping or not spinning, switch it off. Every restart can damage the platters further. Don’t open it and don’t run recovery software on it.
How we recover the WD20EZRZ
