What usually goes wrong
Fitted in current laptops and Canvio portable drives. The USB-native models have no SATA connector, so a damaged USB port is repaired or bypassed on the board.
If your MQ04UBD200 is clicking, beeping or not spinning, switch it off. Every restart can damage the platters further. Don’t open it and don’t run recovery software on it.
